Lowrance LSS-1 StructureScan Sonar Imager with Exclusive DownScan Imaging!
It's Really Not Cheating. But Fish Think Otherwise.
Introducing
the most incredible tool for improving fishing success ever devised by Lowrance --- and it works with all HDS units!
With years of
developing and testing behind it, Lowrance StructureScan sonar imaging takes fish- and structure-finding to the highest level of viewing
detail ever achieved!
It's the first to give you panoramic underwater sonar imaging with picture-perfect viewing. Scans left, scans
right, and scans straight down from your boat!
Lowrance StructureScan gives you the whole picture, with added extras to remove guesswork.
So you spend more productive time fishing. Catching is still up to you.
Features:
· SideScan Imaging Detail - Select SideScan full-screen viewing for supercrisp detail with 480 ft. of side-to-side underwater coverage.
The amazing Lowrance StructureScan imaging feature shows targets as well as their imaging scan shadows - game fish and baitfish alike.
You cover more water in less time while targeting fish and fish-holding structure with superb detail. Plus, with the unique TrackBack
tool, you can easily scroll back in sonar history to find locations and set waypoints.
· DownScan Imaging Advantage - Welcome to the incredible and innovative new dimension in Lowrance fish-finding - high-detail sonar image
scanning focused straight down below your boat! Use this exclusive Lowrance StructureScan feature and there's no more guessing.
Submerged timber looks exactly like timber. So do brush, pilings and stumps. You get the picture. Or, you will with your Lowrance
HDS display.
· SideScan & DownScan Imaging Combined – Running Lowrance SideScan
and DownScan in one split-screen display gives you the best of both worlds for fish- and structure-finding. SideScan for wide-area
surveys. DownScan for more well-defined scrutiny. Together, the clearest way ever devised to see and attack sweet spots. Cursor
over locations for helpful depth and distance detail for new precision in bait or lure presentations, or to set a waypoint.
· DownScan Imaging & 2D Sonar – A Lowrance advantage that's incredibly helpful. Two-dimensional sonar displays can be tricky
to interpret --- timber, dock pilings, cables, rocks and other structure can look like weeds or fish. Or a school of fish might
be mistaken for something else. Not any more. Compare DownScan Imaging to 2D sonar in one split-screen display and you’ll remove all
doubt. The Lowrance StructureScan sonar imaging 455/800 kHz transducer works in tandem with your HDS 2D sonar transducer, without
cross-talk interference. Using the two together and comparing them helps you learn to "read" 2D sonar displays with much greater accuracy.
Good
thing for you. Not exactly good news for fish.
Making Underwater Discovery Even Better
Lowrance StructureScan makes your
HDS the most complete and versatile on-the-water recreational fishing electronics tool ever innovated. Pick what you want to
display in any combination. Full screen, split-screen and (with HDS-8 and HDS-10) even a multiple window view. Display options
include high-detail navigation cartography.
Mark What You Missed
With the synchronized TrackBack™ tool, you can scroll back through
the records of any SideScan, DownScan Imaging™, 2D sonar or GPS chartplotter screen. Even in multi-window display, all views simultaneously
track together as you scroll back in time over your previous course. Find your spot, push a button, mark a waypoint.
If
you’re networked, that waypoint is automatically shared with every HDS display onboard.
Sharing StructureScan!
The Lowrance
StructureScan module networks with up to three HDS displays to share SideScan, DownScan Imaging™ and 2D sonar screens for boat-wide
underwater surveillance with independent control. Ethernet cables are all that’s needed to simply connect the units into a full
underwater imaging network.
Easy to Install
Two easy-to-install components are all that’s needed to launch Lowrance StructureScan:
· The LSS-1 Module – Connect the Module to a 10-18 VDC power supply. Then, using simple plug-and-play ethernet cables, network
up to three HDS displays for viewing and independent display control. Or, network with other HDS options like the LWX-1 antenna
for SIRIUS® satellite weather and radio, or the LRA Broadband Radars.
· The LSS-1
Imaging Transducer – Rugged, with a low-profile, low-drag design, it’s made for multiple mounting locations – transom, transom step,
jackplate, even trolling motors (with a simple adapter option). For transom mounting there’s a stainless steel mounting bracket
with a kick-up feature for water hazard strikes -- damage the bracket and you simply replace it, not the entire transducer. The LSS-1 transducer also contains a built-in water temp sensor.
